Who We Are

Rolewise provides resume-first job search, career discovery, job quality scoring, company intelligence, application-material generation, and application pipeline tracking.

Information We Collect

Rolewise may collect account details, email address, uploaded resume files or resume text, parsed resume profile, career preferences, job-search filters, saved jobs, application pipeline activity, generated cover letters, generated targeted resumes, payment status, Stripe identifiers, support messages, product usage events, device/browser information, and basic site analytics.

Sensitive Career Information

Resumes may contain sensitive personal information that users choose to upload, such as work history, education, location, contact details, certifications, languages, immigration-related hints, or other career information. Users should avoid uploading information that is not needed for job search and application preparation.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, parse resumes, recommend job matches, generate career discovery insights, prepare cover letters and targeted resumes, save pipeline activity, process subscriptions, provide support, monitor errors, improve product quality, and prevent misuse.

AI Processing

Rolewise may send resume text, candidate profile details, job descriptions, search context, and application context to AI providers so the product can parse resumes, analyze fit, summarize job information, and draft application materials. Users should review all AI-generated materials before using them.

Job Data and Third-Party Sources

Rolewise brings live jobs from many online sources into one smarter search. Job listings, company information, salary details, posting dates, and application links may come from third-party job-data providers or original job-posting pages. Users should verify important details on the original job post before applying.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Rolewise stores subscription plan, subscription status, renewal/cancellation status, customer identifiers, and subscription identifiers. Rolewise does not store full payment card numbers.

Service Providers

Rolewise may share limited information with service providers needed to operate the product, including hosting, database, authentication, AI generation, job-data access, payment processing, email delivery, alerts, analytics, and support tools. These providers process information on Rolewise's behalf or according to their own terms when users interact with their services.

No Sale of Resume Data

Rolewise does not sell uploaded resumes or generated application materials. Rolewise does not use uploaded resumes to build advertising profiles for third parties.

Retention

Account, resume, generated-material, and pipeline data may remain available until the user replaces it, deletes it where the product allows, closes the account, or requests deletion. Some billing, security, support, and audit records may be retained when needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or operational reasons.

User Rights and Choices

Users can request access, correction, deletion, or account-data review through the Data & Privacy page. Rolewise may need to verify the request before providing, changing, or deleting account information.

Security

Rolewise uses account-based access controls, Supabase Row Level Security, HTTPS, monitored production errors, and restricted administrative access. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so users should not upload unnecessary sensitive information.

International Processing

Rolewise and its service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where infrastructure or vendors operate. Privacy protections may differ by jurisdiction.

Children

Rolewise is intended for job seekers and is not directed to children under 13. Users under the age of majority in their location should use Rolewise only with appropriate parent or guardian permission.

Changes to This Policy

Rolewise may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, laws, or business practices change. Material changes should be reflected by updating this page and the date above.
